Hector Lombard - The warrior status
Hector was born on February 2, 1978 in
Cuba. At first, Hector started in the local championships,
but soon enough the international Judo scene opened its door for this talented
judoka.
In 1999 he won gold medal at the Cuban Championships
and in 2000 he confirmed his top level Judo mastery at International Tournament
José Ramon Rodriguez Cuba, where he gained another gold medal – this was just
repeated once again in 2001. At the Grand Prix Austria 2001
in Leonding Hector finished with second place. In 2001 he scored with silver
medal at the Tre Torri Tournament Corridonia and in 2002 he won the silver medal
at the Trofeo Internazionale 'Guido Sieni'
Sassari. The list of other not-so-noticable
victories in the Judo competitions would be just too long.
In 2004 Hector
accessed the high level MMA cages and immediately gained the honour and respect.
His win-loss statistics are just excellent and Shango is going to keep it that
way.
