Hidehiko Yoshida - The warrior status
Hidehiko was born on September 3,
1969 in
Japan.
His gentle way of Judo was
excellent – mainly for the gold medal at the 1992 Olympic games in
Barcelona – 78 kg class. In 1988 he finished
first at the Asian championships in Damsakus. In 1991 he finished third at the
World Judo Championship, in 1993 and 1995 he gained bronze at the same
championship and later on he improved his Judo to the top level – he won the
World Judo Championship in 1999. Also in 1996 he finished 5-th at the
Atlanta Olympic. The final notable victory
of Hidehiko Yoshida was in at the World Championships in
Birmingham in 1999 where he finished 1-st.
Hidehiko is a legendary judoka and Japanese national hero; he is actually one of the best judokas fighting in
the mixed martial arts fights. He is using mostly Judo submissions to win in the
MMA fights – and he thrives.
