Yoshihiro was born on July 29, 1975 in Japanese Osaka. The judo career
of this judoka was aimed mostly at the Asian continent.
He finished 2-nd at the
All-Japan Collegiate Separate Weight Divisions in 1996, but later on he gain
more fame with the fabulous winning streak at these important tournaments – 2001
- All-Japan Industry Judo Singles, 2001 - Kodokan Cup Japan Judo Championship,
2002 - Japan International Judo Tournament, 2002 - Paris International Judo
Tournament, 2002 - Asian Games Busan, 2003 - All-Japan Invitational Judo
Championship. The controversy at the 2003 World Judo Championships stopped this
remarkable streak.
Later on, in 2004 Yoshihiro entered the gates of MMA fighting and he is keeping his win/loss statistics at
great level.Yoshihiro is one of the
few mixed martial arts warriors fighting with the judogi, which could give him
some disadvantage – but Mr. Showtime can handle it with a
glamour.
